WE HADE OUR BAPTISM SATURDAY!!!! She is 13 and her partents are both members but they went inactive about 7 years ago and she never got baptized. It was really cool to finally have a baptism that I taught the whole way and not just the last 2 lessons.
So I decided last Monday that I would wait to tell you about this untill today so I could have pictures. Wait for it....... WE GOT PERMISSION TO GO TO THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF TAEKWONDO LAST WEEK!!!!! It was so weird that we were given permission to go because it is a sporting event and so we didn't think we could go but the elders in resujimento (sp) wanted to go so we asked the zone leaders. At first the zone leaders said yes so we relayed the message to the other elders and they told the sister who offered to get them tickets that we could go. However on Saturday we had a meeting with the zone leaders (Elder Swenson is district leader) and the other one said that we may not be going because they still had to ask the assistants for permission. so they asked Sunday night and the assistents said yes (probably asked the presedent). It was so weird that we were able to go. It was really cool. I took a few videos and if we set up a file share (I don't think there is a problem with that just to send pictures, videos and recordings). I will send you some.
It is just fine working with the sisters. We just have to be carefull that we keep our distance and don't interact too much.
I've pretty much gotten used to eating at 3 now so it isn't a problem.
We got a new ward mission leader this week. He is a 18 year old who is waiting for his mission call. Our old one didn't really have time to fullfill his calling because of his job and while we were in ward council the stake presedent (just happened to be there) sugested that we call our new one (by name). It is really weird that our ward mission leader is yonger than I am. The good thing is that the new one has all the time in the world to work with us because he just got out of school a few weeks ago and doesn't have a job. It will defenently be nice to have a ward mission leader who will work with us.
Also one more thing the son of the bishop here wants to add me on facebook so if you see a Mario Madrigal trying to friend me you can accept. Also what did you change my Facebook name to Elder Jason Blanding or just Elder Blanding?
