Spring Break with Grandma

Jessie got the opportunity to spend a week with Grandma. I heard very little from her while she was gone, just a nightly "good night, love you" text was about all I got.  When she got home and saw all the pictures (200 of them!) she took, I understood why. She was having fun!  Cookies, dogs, museums, gardens, dog, baking, cooking, eating, food, and FUN!

Kray Moves Out

I'll admit it, I shed a tear. Kray has his own place now.  His apartment is up in Bothell and is brand spankin' new!  His unit opens to a green belt and he only has an upper neighbor and one on the side.  Best thing is that it is just minutes from his work and is rent controlled.  He is pretty stoked and we are so excited for him.

Of course he had a ton of help and we are so grateful to his friends Steve and Colleen for helping us unload the U-haul. Alysia's parents for giving some furniture (especially the bed) and for all our friends who gave freely of their old cast off furniture so that Kray could have a place to sit in his new apartment.

Where in the World is he GOING....

While we were moving Kray into his apartment, the mail man delivered a very important letter from Salt Lake City. The signature was that of Thomas S. Monson!  Yes, Mike got his call and drumroll.....He is going to California, San Fernando, Spanish speaking!  He will report to the Mexico MTC on August 13, 2014.
