DANCING

It seems like every other weekend was a dance competition for Jessie, well it was, almost! February 6th she was at Eastlake High and then on the 27th she was at Kentwood. They made for some very long days, but she was able to do her best in all of her performances and her team qualified for Districts. At the Eastlake competition they tied for 3rd in Pom and 4th in Dance.

Two days before the Eastlake competition there was a violence threat written on a Redmond High School bathroom wall. That meant the school was closed all day the next day. That was the day they were going to clean the program up and get it ready for the show. Thankfully I was able to convince our Bishop to let us use the gym at the church so the girls could practice one more time. It worked!! They got great scores, even though most of the team was ill or injured.

Hockey

It seems like it is becoming a tradition to go to a Hockey game every winter. We have Chris to thank for it! We have a lower division hockey team locally but the games are still a blast!
