Singin' in the Rain

Mike and Matt were both cast in the local high school production of Singin' in the Rain. They were both cast as member of the ensemble and Mike was given the part of Rob (Lena's publicist).  What was really cool is they really made it rain on stage! It was pretty cool!

Half Marathon

Doreen signed up to run the Lake Sammamish half marathon again and ran it slowly this year with Roy and her new friend Linda. After all the injuries and sickness she hadn't put the training in so it was a nice easy and long half marathon. She is training for the Northwest Passage Ragnar Relay in July. 

Basketball

Mike, Matt and Chris played on the ward's young men's basketball team and played hard. There last day was tournament play and they had to play three games without any subs! They didn't make it to the finals, but they fought hard and did the best they could.  (Sorry no pictures.)

Then Jessie's young women's team took to the court and wiped the floor clean! They had an undefeated season!  

School

Lest you think all we do is play games around here; we don't. Matt and Mike are busy at Bellevue College trying to pass some hard classes while Chris and Jessie are still studying at home. This year Chris and Jessie are tackling Biology and they are dissecting things. I leave the camera on the table and they are to take pictures while I go for a run. It works beautifully!  If I faint it isn't because of the dissection.
