I don't remember us ever having a burn ban in Western Washington. it must be really hot and dry. I hope it all works out.

So this week we saw a bit of a miracle. Well actually it started last week but anyways. We left one house at the farthest part of our area and started to walk towards our next appointment (about a 30 min. walk). While we were walking one of the combies pulled over and told us to get in (not that uncommon that a combi driver gives us a free ride). We got in and then got off a few minuets later because we needed to go a different way than the combi would go. We started to walk and while we were walking a car pulled over in front of us and told us to come to talk to him... in English. We went over and started to talk to him and he turned out to be an old investigator who was looking for some Elders to practice his English with. We talked with him for a while and then set up an appointment with him. He wanted to meet us in the chapel so we set it for Tuesday at 11. He actually came and was very interested and remembered a lot of what the missionaries had taught him. We set another appointment with him for Thursday, I just hope he shows up.

This week I have some mission secrets to reveal. So because Elder Swenson is District Leader we have exchanges with the Zone Leaders every transfer and this transfer we had them on Friday/Saturday. While I was with one of the Zone Leaders he told me that the mission is going to start contacting again. Yes you read that right, contacting. The mission hasn't been doing it for a long time and President Christensen is going to bring it back. It is always weird when we change the way we do things because you get used to doing it one way and then they change the rules on you and you have to get used to a whole new way of doing missionary work. We are going to find out more on Wednesday during the Zone Conference so I will let you know more next week. Actually next week will probably have a lot of news because of the Zone Conference this week.

Yesterday I finished my training. It is weird to think that I have been here for 3 months now and that I am now no longer being trained and that I am just a normal Elder now. The sad thing is that it means that ether myself or Elder Swenson will probably be transferred next transfer but hey we knew it was going to happen at some point.

Also something else happened yesterday. OUR INVESTIGATORS WITH BAPTISM DATES CAME TO CHURCH AGAIN!!!!!!! They came for the second time and so they can be baptized on Saturday!! We just need to finish teaching the last few lessons to "José" and then the interview and then they will be baptized on Saturday. I am so exited because we have been working with this family since we got to the area and they are now ready to be baptized!!
