Elder Blanding was able to call his dad today from the airport in Dallas. It was a very brief phone call as there really wasn't much new news. He had just talked with us the day before.  He did say it was a direct flight to Puebla and would last about 2 1/2 hours.

Something else that is going on is that Mt. Popcatepetl (or Popo) is rumbling.  Popo is an active volcano just about 35 miles west of Puebla. According to other missionary moms, the area covered by North Puebla isn't getting too much ash and the mission and members there are all prepared if she wakes up.  ​

For his email session today he tried to empty his camera's memory card and sent my 98 photos. I will not add them all here.  But here is a sampling:​
