Hey y'all!!
We went to a pyramid in Cholula today (going to be a short letter)!!! it was really cool. And by really cool I mean REALLY COOL!!! at the top (or where it should be, the pyramid was partially destroyed by Cortez) is a catholic church and the first photo is of me at the top of the stairs that lead up to it. the other photos are of a sign that is in front of the church (ignore the bad English, I am 99.99% sure that it is a translation of the Spanish version on the other side). apparently the Cross that they put on the top was struck by lightning not once but three times, and the church was destroyed by an earthquake. I don't think that the people got the message. It was really cool. if I had time and space in the message I would send some more pictures of the tunnels that the excavators put into the pyramid. maybe next week.
so I don't have more time but I do have more to say so I will have to make a note to write you all about it next week. sorry
